    Our highly precise system contains multiple barcode checks and is built to dispense your exact medication into the correct doses. Each packet dispensed is sent through an image recognition system that ensures the right pill is in the right pack. Our system can detect dispensing accuracy by size, shape, color, and density of the pills, and catalogues an image of every single packet dispensed. PillPack pharmacists are involved in every step of filling your prescription, including checking each packet before it leaves the pharmacy.

  • How do you prevent mistakes?

    PillPack takes quality control very seriously. We have established secure and stringent systems with multiple pharmacist checkpoints. Every single packet is reviewed by a pharmacist and we have catalogued images of each pack before it leaves the pharmacy.

In addition, each packet is checked by a pharmacist for accuracy and interactions prior to shipment.

  • What do I do if I have a bad reaction to a medication?

    If you have an adverse reaction to a medication, a PillPack pharmacist will do a full clinical assessment with you and recommend a course of action to prevent future adverse reactions. This may include counseling that explains preventative measures, or contacting your doctor to see about discontinuing or modifying the dose of your medication.

  • What happens if my PillPack has been tampered with?

    If you believe your packet has been tampered with, you should contact us immediately, either by phone at 855-745-5725 or email hello@pillpack.com. Our system keeps an image of each pack that leaves our pharmacy, so we’ll be able to confidently determine if your PillPack has been tampered with.

  • What do you do if medications are recalled from a manufacturer?

    If we’re notified that a medication has been recalled, we will notify all of the customers that have been potentially affected and properly dispose of the medication from our pharmacy.

  • What happens if there is an error in my shipment?

    You should never receive a shipment with an error. If you believe there’s been an error with your PillPack, please call the pharmacy immediately at 855-745-5725. We’re happy to help.
