  • How much are my copays?

    In most cases, your copays will stay the same as it is at your local retail pharmacy for a 30-day supply of medication. If you are currently receiving 90-day supplies, you may pay a slightly higher copay with PillPack.

    Your copays are set by your insurance company and may vary based on certain factors, including where you fill medicines, your deductible (if you have one), and what kind of medication you’re receiving.

  • Can I sign someone else up?

    Yes, whether you are caring for a family member or a friend, you can help them sign up for PillPack by visiting our Get Started page or by calling us directly at 855-745-5725.

    If you would like to have access to your loved one’s account, click ‘Add a Caregiver’ on the first step of the online signup form, or tell your PillPack advisor if you’re signing up by phone.   • How do you handle controlled drugs?

    We can fill and include schedule III, IV, and V medications in your PillPack. We do not fill schedule II prescriptions.

  • Can you ship prescriptions to my state?

    PillPack is licensed to ship prescriptions to 49 states in the US. We do not currently ship to Hawaii and are unavailable in Puerto Rico.

  • How are PillPacks dispensed?

    Our highly precise system contains multiple barcode checks and is built to dispense your exact medication into the correct doses. Each packet dispensed is sent through an image recognition system that ensures the right pill is in the right pack. Our system can detect dispensing accuracy by size, shape, color, and density of the pills, and catalogues an image of every single packet dispensed. PillPack pharmacists are involved in every step of filling your prescription, including checking each packet before it leaves the pharmacy.

  • How does billing work?

    We charge you when we ship your medications. Usually this means you’ll be charged every 30 days when we send your monthly shipment. If we send you any other medications throughout the course of the month, you’ll be charged for those when we ship them.

    Your bill includes copays for prescription medications, along with the retail cost for any vitamins and OTCs you’ve added. Your monthly copays are usually the same as a 30-day supply at a retail pharmacy. You can review detailed payment information anytime on your Dashboard.
